چکیده

In this study, it was aimed to investigate cultivation of Lentinula edodes by using different agricultural wastes (oak sawdust, poplar wheat stalk, peanut shell, corncob and vine pruning waste) determine the most suitable growing mixture/mixtures. For purpose, 12 mixtures were tested. Within scope experiment, besides measurement yield quality parameters mushrooms, properties enzyme activities (laccase cellulase) at periods measured. Based on results highest lowest amounts nitrogen obtained from after harvest (1.71%) sterilization (1.34%) periods, respectively. While amount carbon after-sterilization period (46.6%), recorded (45.64%) period. The fastest slowest mycelia development time observed in A7 (21.67 days) A4 (50 mixtures, determined A5 (299.59 g kg-1) mixture, A9 (55.99 kg-1), A6 (65.59 A11 (75.47 gave results. biological activity rate A3 (93.65 %) (92.90%), (21.45%), (19.85%) (19.22%) mixtures. protein A5, A10, C cellulase laccase found (3.16 IU g-1) (2164.48 U g-1),

In Vitro Assessment of Shiitake Mushroom (Lentinula edodes) Extract for Its Antigingivitis Activity

Gingivitis is a preventable disease characterised by inflammation of the gums due to the buildup of a microbial biofilm at the gingival margin. It is implicated as a precursor to periodontitis, a much more serious problem which includes associated bone loss. Unfortunately, due to poor oral hygiene among the general population, gingivitis is prevalent and results in high treatment costs. Consequ...

Growth and antibacterial activity of Lentinula edodes in liquid media supplemented with agricultural wastes

Antibacterial activity of Lentinula edodes against Bacillus subtilis was evaluated in cell-free filtrates obtained after growth in 14 different culture media. The highest B. subtilis growth inhibition was promoted by filtrates of growth media supplemented with rice bran, vermiculite or molasses. L. edodes dry mycelial biomass in liquid culture with 0.5% added rice bran was 3.2 mg/ml, after grow...

Development of 44 Novel Polymorphic SSR Markers for Determination of Shiitake Mushroom (Lentinula edodes) Cultivars

The shiitake mushroom (Lentinulaedodes) is one of the most popular edible mushrooms in the world and has attracted attention for its value in medicinal and pharmacological uses. With recent advanced research and techniques, the agricultural cultivation of the shiitake mushroom has been greatly increased, especially in East Asia. Additionally, demand for the development of new cultivars with goo...

Construction of a genetic linkage map of shiitake mushroom Lentinula edodes strain L-54.

From fruiting bodies of L. edodes strain L-54, single-spore isolates (SSIs) were collected. Two parental types of L-54 were regenerated via monokaryotization. By means of random-amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), DNA samples from L-54, its two parental types, and 32 SSIs were amplified with arbitrary primers. Dedikaryotization was demonstrated, and 91 RAPD-based molecular markers were generated....
